Heler here, class of 2004 for I know there are a lot of talented people still at VSAA so I thought you all would be interested. It's not just music anything you think is worth sharing is cool. It's not just for entertainment...it's an awareness benefit for the YWCA. We will be collecting cash donations, non-food items ie: office supplies, shampoo/conditioner, hydrogen peroxide, bus passes, diapers, old cell phones...the sky is the limit. There will be free refresments as well so you have nothing to loose people. See you tonight!!

I hear they are remodeling VSAA. I guess the summer after this next one? My little brother who still goes there was saying that they are moving the MIA lab over towards 202/203, putting walls up in 220/320, creating a real hallway to 210 (keeping choir in 210, but moving band and orchestra to 205(ish)? what the heck?), and possibly painting over our beloved salmon and seafoam green walls.

Interesting... I'll go back to my 10 year reunion and not know where anything is...

ohk, who here knows:

is it possible to get final transcripts for alumni?
i only graduated this year, but i don't think i ever got a final transcript to send to my college, and i'm applying for 2006-2007 fall quarter at central.
so, i kind of need one to get sent out, but i don't even know if it's possible anymore, or who i contact with this sort of thing.

any suggestions or knowlegable advice?

Hey Y'all!
Greetings from Richmond! I thought I would let you all know that yes, I actually put the FQ's to work in college. For one of my classes we are required to participate in an online discussion board. Our first topic is "What Is Art?" What are the chances?

Alright, don't want to bore you but I thought that was an interesting little tidbit of information.

Hey all!
If anyone is planning on moving to the Seattle area this winter, or would be interested in doing that, please let me know. I'm planning on transfering to UW and want an apartment near campus, but I can't afford a single so I need a roommate. So yeah, if anyone thinks they would be interested, drop a line?

2 BR 1 BATH apartment,

Luv ya,

Alex Ali
One of our very own is on reality television. Alex Ali from the first years of VSAA is on the Amazing Race. I spotted him last night, the very first time I've ever seen the show. Crazy, huh?! www.cbs.com has more information. Isn't this bizarre?

I wonder how far back this alumni thing goes! Anybody from way back in the day? I'd love love love to hear from you. Since leaving VSAA I've lived in England, Seattle, California, Texas, and now I currently work at Arizona Theatre Company in Tucson & Phoenix. I just got back from visiting Anna Sebald in LA last week. Libby's in DC. Other than that- I got nothing. Where ARE you people?!! Who still works at VSAA? I'd love to hear from anyone- even if you were a younger kiddo when I graduated.

Hey this is Nathan Nokes here. How are all the new graduates enjoying life outside of Highschool?

I personly am inlove with my major. Music Composition. I also enjoy the WSU campus alot, and I've warmed up to my fraturnity, although I really don't stick around much for any of the parties, I enjoy being involved in the organization. I walk every where and I miss having a car. I also need to leave the House more, and go to places besides my other home (Kimbral Music Hall).

I'm the only music major in the house, or arts major. I also have by far the longest hair. I get called hippie alot which I don't mind. Hair, tea, and ensence jokes have just become freindly jesturs.

Hope to hear back from some of you all.

Hi all, Lauren Shumate, class of 2004, reporting to you li-er...semi-live from Lamoni, Iowa. I'm currently attending Graceland University (small, private, liberal arts deal), but I'm considering transfering to UW next year if the utter boredom of small college town life gets to me.

Luv ya,

P.S. Hey Heler, Christ, and Nathan!

P.P.S. These dorms suck. My heater's broken so it's 80 degrees in here! Insanity!

Hello? Anyone?
Hey there VSAA alumni. Is there anyone out there from my era? I'm talking 1996-1999. Not that I wouldn't love to here from anyone and everyone (hyperbole, of course), but I'm seeking old schoolers in particular.

Wow, it's pretty happenin' up in harr, what with five (well this makes six) whole posts! ;) Haw.

I'm Chris. Or Christ. Whichever. And I just graduated. And I'm here. And I'm sure that the excitement of having graduated and joining the VSAA Alum. community will wear down eventually, and I and others won't post here much (as seems to be the case now), but for now, I'm here, and happy. Hiya! :)
